James makes handcrafted jewellery using traditional silversmithing techniques, with bold and statement designs. He uses a variety of precious and semi-precious stones set in recycled gold, and silver. While his methods are traditional and still used from hundreds of years ago, his inspiration often comes from nature, natural forms and history.
James has had a varied career, from Carpentry and Joinery to Farming since the age of 16 – which have all fed into his practice as a jeweller and working with various materials. James still currently runs a successful joinery business and juggles both jewellery and joinery together. Which is perfect when a customer desires wood into their ring!
James loves a design challenge, so if there’s something you’d like him to make especially for you or you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
