James French, a skilled silver and goldsmith, based in Newton Abbot, Devon, UK.

James specialises in crafting unique wedding rings, bespoke jewellery, and custom wedding bands, having amassed over a decade of experience in the craft.

James hand makes every wedding ring and items of jewellery himself, from reworking heirlooms to stone setting and casting – The only time a piece of jewellery will leave our workshop is when it requires hallmarking, which we are registered at the London Assay Office.

His expertise in crafting wedding rings is particularly renowned in the UK, and after 10 years in the wedding industry, he has earned his stripes as a trusted wedding ring supplier.

James offers advice on the style of rings to suit the customers lifestyle, ensuring that their rings not only reflect their style but also complement their daily activities and hobbies – Whether it’s recommending durable materials for active lifestyles or suggesting timeless designs for classic elegance, James will guide you in choosing the perfect wedding ring.

Meet Terri, the invaluable member of the JWF Unique Designs team. As James’ wife and our administrative powerhouse, Terri manages all the essential tasks including administration, marketing, appointments, and customer service.

Additionally, she brings her creative eye to the table by capturing images of our jewellery and overseeing our website. Juggling her roles at work with her duties as a parent to three young children alongside James, Terri epitomises dedication and balance. Her contributions ensure the smooth functioning of our business and the satisfaction of our valued customers.
