At JWF Unique Designs, all of our jewellery, including bespoke wedding rings, is handmade to order. Due to the custom nature of our work, we do not offer returns or exchanges. Please review our full policy below.
Payment Terms
- By paying in full or placing a deposit, you are agreeing to our Terms of Service.
- Deposits are non-refundable. Once a deposit or full payment is made, your order enters our production stage, and materials are ordered. We do not offer refunds at this point.
- Exchanges are not accepted for any items.
Collection, Shipping & Responsibility
- Collection: When you collect your jewellery from our workshop, including wedding rings, it will be presented in a quality hessian straw tie bag. You can upgrade to our high-quality leather ring slips for an additional fee. Once you leave the premises with the jewellery, you are fully liable for its care. We do not offer insurance or warranties on our jewellery.
- Shipping: For shipped orders, the jewellery will be placed in a hessian string tie bag and securely posted in a padded Jiffy bag. We use Royal Mail Special Delivery – next day guaranteed by 1pm. While we provide a tracking number, and use the best service from Royal Mail, we are not responsible for lost items in the post.
- Returns: We do not accept returns. But if agreed between us and the customer it may be returned. You are responsible for the shipping charges and for it reaching us, we do not accept liability for not receiving it or it arriving damaged. After notifying us, please ship the item to JWF Unique Designs, Larcombe Farm, Town Farm Lane, Ideford, Devon, TQ13 0AZ. Ensure the item is returned using Royal Mail Special Delivery and provide us with a tracking number. If we are returning an item back to you, you will be responsible for the shipping cost. An invoice will be created, and once settled, we will ship the item back to you.
Quality Assurance
- All jewellery made at JWF Unique Designs undergoes a thorough quality control process before leaving the workshop.
Warranty
- We do not offer warranty with any of our jewellery or wedding rings. Your jewellery/wedding rings will go through the quality inspection before leaving our workshop. It is up to the you as the customer to have your rings insured after collection/delivery, in case of any loss or damage to your jewellery.
Ring Sizing
- Once a ring size is agreed upon at your 1–1 appointment or provided when ordering, we do not offer refunds or exchanges if the ring does not fit.
- Some materials may not allow for resizing. If resizing is possible, we are happy to discuss the available options, but please note that resizing fees may apply depending on the complexity of the work and materials used.
Time Scales
- Each piece of jewellery is handmade with care and attention to detail. For items ordered from our website, the piece will be made and shipped within 3 weeks, though we aim to complete the process sooner when possible.
- Bespoke jewellery timelines can vary depending on the complexity of the item, materials, and whether hallmarking is required. We always ask our customers to provide a deadline date (such as a wedding date), which we will work to accommodate, keeping you informed throughout the production process.
- For late orders with tight deadlines, we will do our best to ensure timely delivery.
