At JWF Unique Designs, all of our jewellery, including bespoke wedding rings, is handmade to order. Due to the custom nature of our work, we do not offer returns or exchanges. Please review our full policy below.

Payment Terms

By paying in full or placing a deposit, you are agreeing to our Terms of Service.

Deposits are non-refundable. Once a deposit or full payment is made, your order enters our production stage, and materials are ordered immediately.

Exchanges are not accepted for any items

Collection, Shipping & Responsibility

Collection: When you collect your jewellery from our workshop, including wedding rings, it will be presented in a hessian straw tie bag. You can upgrade to our high-quality leather ring slips for a cost at the time of collection, or ordering beforehand from our website.

Responsibility: Once you leave the premises with the jewellery, you are fully liable for its care. We do not offer insurance or warranties on our jewellery.

Shipping: For shipped orders, the jewellery will be placed in a hessian string tie bag and securely posted in a padded Jiffy bag. We use Royal Mail as our shipping supplier. While we provide a tracking number, and use the best service from Royal Mail, we are not responsible for lost items in the post.

Returns & Refunds

We do not accept returns as a standard. In exceptional circumstances, a return and refund may be agreed at our discretion. If such an agreement is reached, the customer will be required to review, sign and return a Settlement Agreement (provided by JWF) before any refund is processed. Refunds will be only be issued once this signed document has been received and acknowledged by us, and will be made within 7 working days thereafter. The Settlement Agreement will be sent via email.

If the Settlement Agreement is not signed and returned, we reserve the right to refused both the return and refund.

Returning the item if agreed by our discretion:

Customers are responsible for all shipping costs and for ensuring that returned items reach us safely. We do not accept liability for items that are lost or damaged in transit, nor are we responsible for resending such items.

Ring Resizing

We are happy to offer guidance on ring sizing; however, the final responsibility for confirming the correct size rests with the customer.

Customers must either provide us with their ring size or, during an in-person appointment at our workshop, make the decision on which size feels comfortable.

If weight is lost or gained after a ring size has been provided or taken, we cannot be held responsible for any changes in fit.

As not all materials can be resized, in some cases a new ring may need to be made, and any associated costs will be billed to the customer.

Quality Assurance

All jewellery made at JWF Unique Designs undergoes a thorough quality control process before leaving the workshop.

Warranty

We do not offer warranty with any of our jewellery or wedding rings. Your jewellery/wedding rings will go through the quality inspection before leaving our workshop. It is up to the you as the customer to have your rings insured after collection/delivery, in case of any loss or damage to your jewellery. 

Lead Times

Bespoke jewellery lead times can vary depending on the complexity of the item, materials, and whether hallmarking is required. We always ask our customers to provide a deadline date (such as a wedding date), which we will work to accommodate, keeping you informed throughout the production process. 

Website Orders:

Each piece of jewellery is handmade with care and attention to detail. For items ordered from our website, the piece will be made and shipped within 3 weeks, though we aim to complete the process much sooner when possible.

For late orders with tight deadlines, we will do our best to ensure timely delivery.

Final Notes

All terms mentioned above are in place to ensure clear communication and smooth transactions between JWF Unique Designs and our valued customers. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, bespoke jewellery.
